To hand wash, turn the jacket inside out and fill a sink or tub with cool water and a mild detergent. Soak the jacket for 30 minutes, gently rubbing any stains, then drain the dirty water and rinse the jacket thoroughly with cold water until all soap is gone. Finally, press out excess water without wringing, and hang the jacket to air dry away from direct sunlight.
